Mijn probleem
Macbook 2,1 no longer charges or recognizes the battery. Battery is new.
Everything I read suggested the Magsafe board could be the culprit.
Mijn oplossing
Magsafe board received quickly from iFixit and the excellent repair guide made things much less scary. Unfortunately, the repair did not solve the problem and Macbook still needs power from the adapter in order to run. All of the SMC resets etc. have been done. Genius bar is next, I guess.
Mijn advies
I used the iFixit project tray with labels for each step to keep all of the little screws in order. Great help! Didn't lose any screws, amazingly! I had the repair guide by my side on my iPad and the photos helped confirm each step in the process. Great guide. Thanks"
