Huge money saver and a happy daughter!

Mijn probleem

The power charging port on my daughter's Microsoft Surface RT was failing. Microsoft told me it could not be fixed, but they would sell me a new Surface Pro 3. They would only take $150 off the price of the new one for me and I had 1 week to move on the offer. The cost to fix this through IFixit ended up costing me less than $40. This was my daughter's gift from Santa two years ago, so she was overjoyed that Daddy was able to fix it.

Mijn oplossing

It was a piece of cake. I'm a former IBM Service Representative, so my past experience also was beneficial.
