A little apprehensive once the work was commenced, fearing turning my functioning phone into an expensive paperweight. With some caution, and step by step instructions, all went pretty smoothly.

Suggestions: Advise customers the new battery is completely dead, and the phone will not turn on until the battery is charged! (This caused some heart palpitations upon my completion of the repair.) Wrestling the glued battery out of the chassis was the most difficult and stressful part. Unable to remove the original battery with the pull tab, resorted to prying with the spurge tool... the soft battery, glued in place, began to deform and I worried that the Li-ion battery might suddenly short or burst into flames before my magnified eyes.... it did not happen, but amateur repairs might be interested to know that the battery is actually soft sided, and resembles some old chewing gum in a vinyl wrapper. Reattaching the electrical connectors was best sensed and verified with the tip of a finger. Using a tool was a bit of a hinderance as one could not get feedback as to the connectors security and alignment. Install battery connector before dropping battery into its position, remaining glue will cement it in place, making connection and placement of the micro ribbon cable difficult afterward. Two suction cups might help separating the case and screen as my meaty paws had trouble holding the back of the case against the suction cup of fixit industrial strength. (i tried some similar suction cups found about the house, but they couldn't compete.)
