Wanted to increase the internal HD storage of my Mac Mini

Mijn oplossing

No problems. I downloaded the instruction PDF onto my iPad. Sat at my workbench, with plenty of light (inside the Mac Mini parts are small and dark). Worked my way through the instructions step by step to the end. Then, worked my way back through the instructions to reassemble the Mac Mini. Plugged her in and she worked. Only step that didn't follow downloaded instructions was I had to format my drive. No big deal on that though.

Mijn advies

I took a white sheet of paper onto which I printed 2-inch X 2-inch squares, which I numbered 1, 2, 3, etc. As I removed screws I placed them on the squares in the order of the step I removed them.

Be sure to place the paper well outside of your immediate work area.

Then, as I retraced my steps to reassemble the Mac Mini I easily identified the screws (highest numbered square first).

Once you start up the Mac, the new SSHD is immediately seen. You should erase the drive which will format it and enable you to use.

Works like a champ!
