Mijn probleem
Old battery about gone. Did diagnostic on it (iBackupBot program) and showed only holding 76 percent charge when fully charged. (about 1000 out of 1430 capacity) . 616 cycles!
Mijn oplossing
Simple. Ordered battery. Got it quick. Followed instructions to install from a utube video. Used the tools that came in the package. Took about 15 minutes or so working slow and careful. I had no previous experience with this kind of repair. No problems. New battery diagnostic showed 0 (zero) cycles. Holds 1400 out of 1430 capacity. 100 percent charge. Has been 5 days and diagnostics still show battery is fully charging. Reckon it is a good one.
Mijn advies
I saw a lot of stories about getting used batteries online. I was worried about that but my worries were unfounded. I'm an old fart and worried about handling the tiny screws. The screwdriver that came with the battery was magnetic and held the screws. Made it easy for me. You do need some kind of magnification as you're working pretty small (smallest screws I have ever seen!). Would purchase again. thank you.
