Mijn probleem

The backlight would flicker when the display was moved up and down. Eventually, it became harder and harder to get it to stay on.

Mijn oplossing

Followed the directions going both ways and the laptop worked great when finished. It is very easy to chip the edges of the screen bezel and the keyboard frame when popping them in and out - use caution.

Mijn advies

The easiest way to keep track of the dozens of screws you have to remove is to tape them to a card and label each step or part of a step to keep them straight.
