Life Extension to my 17" MacBook Pro

Mijn probleem

I was having issues with my system freezing on me and having to do a hard reboot all the time to fix it. I also noticed several times that I would hear a repetitive clicking sound coming from the hard drive during several freeze ups. My current MacBook Pro was purchased in 2009 as a replacement for my old one who's hard drive had finally went bad.

Mijn oplossing

The guides I used from Ifixit were so simple - I was in and out in no time, and everything went according to plan. I replaced my old 500GB HD with a new 1TB SSD hybrid which I also purchased right through Ifixit.com. While I was in there I doubled my memory by changing my RAM. Now it seems like I have a brand new MacBook Pro. None of this cost me hundreds of dollars at a local repair shop to diagnose and repair.

Follow the guides (mine were quite easy to use) and you should not have any troubles as long as you are following the correct guide for what you need to do. I will definitely come back here again if I have other things that might need to fix. Thank you!!!
