Mijn probleem
My old 20GB iPod 4G is connected to the car stereo via a dock/charger integration kit. I started noticing the car taking longer to start only a few months after installing a new car battery. So in making sure I removed all the extra loads from the car, I thought of the iPod in the glove compartment and sure enough disconnecting it made my problems go away. I noticed when I plugged it in at home that it would "charge forever" and never indicate it was fully charged -- at that point I realized that over the course of a few months it was sucking my car battery!
Mijn oplossing
I installed a replacement battery. Repair was easy with the tools provided. The old battery was stuck pretty well with adhesive so I would say be prepared to pull hard.
Mijn advies
I would suggest maybe removing all the Torx screws and pulling out the board completely -- the current instructions involve removing only 2 screws to lift up the board, but then you are bending a very thin part of the board especially if the battery is stuck in there.
