Mijn probleem

The phone in suspect used to die when the battery had 20% left. It still looked new so I decided to just change the battery inside.

Mijn oplossing

Hardest part of the repair was prying the screen off. Other than that, everything went smoothly.

Mijn advies

Even with a suction cup, the clips holding the screen in place are very strong. Had to watch a couple of Youtube videos before I managed to get it open.

But basically, the important part is to stick the suction cup at the extreme end of lower right or left hand corner as possible, then pull as much as possible (you need to apply a lot of force). Once you've made a small opening, stick the plastic opening tool in that gap, and pry from there.
