Mijn probleem

I must admit when Sony told me I had to send in my Vita and pay £140 for a reconditioned unit I wasn't impressed as all that was wrong was the right stick . I phoned several UK console repair companies and the general reply was to throw it away and buy a new one. I was not happy about this as I saved up for six months and bought the day one release unit and I had played the thing to death and I had grown quite attached of the little girl.

Mijn oplossing

After looking at a few You Tube videos I decided to give it a go. The part was really well priced and it arrived really quickly. I must take this opportunity to thank IFIXIT and this is the reason for writing this protracted story. The fix took me literally 10 minutes and I am the clumsiest man alive.

Mijn advies

If your Vita is playing up, especially the sticks then I urge you not to buy a new one and give the repair a go yourself.
