HD upgrade

I wanted to have more space (1 TB) and to improve speed on my old (mid 2009) MacBook Pro

Mijn oplossing

Fine - I could not disconnect the battery as I was missing the pentalobe tool in the kit, but it went OK - The rubber box holder for the ex-internal HD is very handy, I could restore my data directly from it after having installed a new Mac OS Yosemite operating system on my new internal SSHD !

Mijn advies

Don't hesitate to upgrade, it is much more easy that it seems, especially with ifixit clear explanations !
