Mijn probleem

I dropped my iphone 4S. It landed on an edge which cracked the display glass and was sure that there was no way to fix it, although I did call my carrier and asked them if there was a way. Getting no where with them. I just settle with the fact it was ruined. Some time later I was walking in the mall and saw a kiosk that was advertising iphone 4S repairs. When I returned home I went on Google and typed the words "Iphone 4S repair". This led me to the "IFIXIT" site and simply went from there. The site led me to exactly what i needed in repairing my iphone 4S. I ordered the kit on a Thursday and received it the following Saturday. Cool!

Mijn oplossing

I was a very nervous at first, but took my time and laid everything out. Tools, the iphone, and plenty of space to work. The repair time took my afternoon but i was prepared for this. The Kit provided all the tools necessary for the repair. I made sure there was a place for the tiny screws. Before beginning, I went back to the IFIIT web site and clicked on the tip's provided. This gave me screw-by-screw pictorial. This provided me with the most inportant tool of all, "CONFIDENCE".

After taking the phone apart and putting it back together, for the first time, I failed. Thinking about where I could have gone wrong, i went going back to the pictorial, i realized one big mistake i made, and that was, I failed on making a clean connection. This was mentioned and this is where I failed. Now I am determined to get this right, I walked away and tried again the very next morning. The second did not take as long. End result? Success!

Mijn advies

Things of importance. First, I used an magnetic cup to hold the screws. This you can find at your local hardware store. The second is laying all the screw out in the order you remove them. Also for keeping it clean, I wiped all removable part with a lens cleaning wipe.
