Everything Old Is New Again

Mijn probleem

Slow lagging Macbook Pro with an aging drive was set aside awhile back for a new SS FlashMemory MacBook Pro. The old one was perfectly good but slow. Having worked with a few of the folks from IFixIt through EETimes I thought I could bring the old computer back up to speed and have more storage.

Mijn oplossing

The repair went flawlessly, I also installed a new battery and track pad. It took me 45 minutes to all of that. The tool kit included in the replacement pack I purchased made thing much easier. The online directions for both replacing the hard drive and track pad were spot on.

Mijn advies

One extra helpful app I discovered and used was SuperDuper. I use it to clone the old hard drive onto the new one. Easy as plug and play.
