Mijn probleem
My iphone's battery life was getting worse with each day. At one point, the phone would die randomly even when the battery was above 10%. It was really annoying when at 28% the phone died and gave me the plug in symbol when attempting to turn it back on. I could still get it to turn on after a few minutes, but then it would turn off again soon after.
Mijn oplossing
The repair itself went well. All the tools I needed were provided in the kit, except for the Windex. Getting the back plate to open was surprisingly easy, it just slid off. It is important to take care when removing the screws, as I accidentally dropped one of the tiny screws from the power connector onto the carpet. Fortunately I was able to dig it up after a few minutes of searching with my wife's phone. Taking the battery off was a bit tricky as well because of the adhesive backing. Putting the phone back together was easier, I just used the plastic tool and screw driver to manipulate the grounding strip back into place, but getting the screws back in are a bit tricky since they are so small.
Mijn advies
Do the repair in a well lit environment, perhaps use a tray or magnet so as to avoid having those tiny screws rolling off the working surface. Have the Windex or rubbing alcohol handy before you begin the repair. Maybe cut your nails if they are too long to be able to handle the screws effectively.
