The phone was dropped on the road and the screen smashed.

Mijn oplossing

I used the iPhone 5C Display Assembly with Home Button and Front Camera pre-installed (for the extra $10) and so the repair was a breeze.

Mijn advies

The three connectors are really fiddly to get aligned so patience is the key as you want to give a solid press to seat the three connectors in their respective sockets.
