Mijn probleem
I dropped and significantly cracked the face of my iPhone screen. I had an upgrade ready through Verizon, but I really just was not ready to upgrade. The insurance replacement costs were high due to deductibles and the cost to have someone else repair the phone was also pretty high.
Mijn oplossing
I ordered the kit through IFIXIT. It arrived on-time and I was ready to start the repair. I used the online step by step guide provided by IFIXIT and it was a relatively easy process. I used tape on a piece of paper labeled with the step that required I remove screws or components. This worked very well so I did not lose any screws. It took me 1.5 hours to disassemble and reassemble the phone. I had no problems. I went slow and followed the directions.
Mijn advies
Label the steps on a piece of paper and use tape to hold all the tiny screws as you remove them from each step. I also wrote on the paper next to the taped screw the color indicated on the directions for the screw removed. Some of the screws were not the same size so this was helpful. Take you time.
