I smashed my iPhone 5S screen, didn't fix it because I thought it'd be too hard. I had an old iPhone 4S that I could use. Then, a few months later, my wife smashed her iPhone 5. Without a backup, I knew I'd either have to fix it or get her a new one. A friend referred me to ifixit and I purchased two new screens
The repairs went very well. The online videos were great at helping me take it all apart, and they had the parts and tools necessary. However, the videos did not go through putting it all back together. I realize it's the same thing forward and back, but it's much more daunting when you have your entire iPhone laying in front of you.
The videos you offer are great, but I ended up having to go on YouTube to find other videos that walked me through putting it back together. How to reassemble the camera, reviewing how to reconnect the wires from the display to the iPhone. I think that'd be very useful, because for those who aren't versed in iPhones or the mechanics, a step-by-step guide is useful. Otherwise, everything worked great.
