Mijn oplossing
Was a little harder than I expected. Only obvious mistake I made was not tracking the screws. I should have separated the parts and set the appropriate screws with them. I had to figure out which screws went where because they accidentally were mixed together.
Suction cup would not work on broken glass, had to use packaging tape.
At the end, I realized that the home button was a little crooked, so I went to pull the glass out to adjust and like an idiot, realized I still had the display screws in. I ended up cracking the display because it would not give...not the brightest moment. Now I have a distorted corner of the bottom right screen where it cracked and bent the new display. :(
Not good, since I did this so I could turn it on for more money when I upgrade to the new iPhone 6 Plus. Now I may be back to square one.
Mijn advies
I had to transfer the camera, home button, etc since the pre-assembled model was out of stock. I recommend spending the extra money on the pre-assembled display...far easier.
Track your screws!
Otherwise, despite my moronic display damage, I think Fixit is awesome.
