My screen shattered at work when phone fell out of my pocket!

This would be my second go around with repairing my phone. My first was because my phone was submerged in cooler water and ice when someone didn't seal the ziplock bag! The battery was destroyed and took weeks for the screen to dry out even while apart. It still had blemishes but could live with it. My home button also was going bad before hand but replaced it along with the battery. Then the recent screen shatter happened. All went well the first install. Then I got a phone call and couldn't hear the person on the other end. So I reseated everything and still wasn't working. I hooked up the old screen and speaker worked. So alas I had to swap out my old speaker with the new screen from ifixit. :( Immediately after though the screen had flickering all around the edges. After many re-seats it just wouldn't go away. It took about a day and it finally went away on it's own thankfully. Overall I'm happy with the replacement and sure beat buying a new out of contract phone. Thanks ifixit!

Mijn advies

Take it slow and use care to not mess up or flex the cables too far. It may cause abnormal screen flickering. Oh and don't drop your phone!!
