I dropped my iphone 4s and broke the screen. After ordering and receiving the new screen, I followed the guide and began. There is a step when cables are unplugged from the "motherboard" which went well. Until I tried to remove it and ended up breaking the power cable. Darn it, there is a cable under a cable. It's there in the guide in the second picture, but I was following what I read and saw in the first one.
Routing of the power cable had me stumped for a little while, but I got it and proceeded. When I pressed the power button, it lit up and works just like it should!
I got stuck trying to figure out how the speaker and cable routing went. Turns out the power cable wraps around the speaker. Figuring that out, the rest went smoothly.
I didn't remove the forward facing camera - didn't need to remove it for the screen or power cable repair. The 000 screwdriver I bought from ifixit seems to large for some of the screws - I removed them with a tiny flat screwdriver I have from a watch repair kit.
