Hand-Me-Down

Mijn probleem

I got this phone as a hand-me-down from my oldest daughter. She dropped it on pavement at Disney World which shattered the back glass. Upon arriving home, it was baptized in the toilet by my youngest grandson who had made a 'grab and run' with my daughter in chase. Thinking it was toast but not wanting to get rid of the phone she put it in a drawer and left it there for 2 years. She recently discovered it and on a whim powered it up. The phone worked like it had never been affected by water or pavement trauma. I needed a 'new' phone so she gave it to me. It's worked beautifully and now has a longer charge and a stiffer 'non-flexible'(!) back.

Mijn oplossing

Even someone 'mechanically challenged' could have done the repairs. I fixed it in 10 minutes. I'm very happy with the magnetic project mat too. Keeps those tiny, nearly invisible screws from bouncing like rubber balls all over the place.

Mijn advies

Double-check the serial number to make sure of the phone type. I ordered the wrong parts from a different company and had a bad experience getting them returned. I wish I'd looked a little further and found you guys in the first place!
