Mijn probleem
I've been having issues with the battery shutting down due to "low battery" when it shows ~30% remaining. I were also times when the phone shows 1% and it lasts for an hour or so. I did the battery recalibration of the SW, which didn't help. I've tried every suggestion I could find on the internet, and nothing helped. Last resort was a new battery.
Mijn oplossing
The installation itself went off without a hitch. However, getting the screen to come off was something of a nightmare. I tried everything was was suggested and finally had to resort to brute strength. When it finally did come off, I was afraid that the sudden yank may have damaged the ribbon at the top of the screen or the connector on the board.
Also, reconnecting the various ribbons was a bit tricky as it was hard to tell whether or not it was fully seated, and the slightest tug would sometimes disconnect it after it sounded/felt like it was fully seated.
All-in-all, I wasn't actually sure everything reconnected properly until I powered on the device.
Now the battery life is where it should be and I'm not getting random shutdowns any more.
Mijn advies
Keeping a needle minder or a weak magnet around is handy, as long as it isn't dark. It helps you mind your tiny screws.
A pair of needlenose tweezers helps seat the screws in, since it is not recommended to use a magnetized tip to hod onto the screws.
