So one day my Iphone ran out of charge and after I plugged it in there was no charge indicator. I tried several different chargers but nothing showed any indication of charging. I concluded that since I had had my phone for 2 plus years it must be my battery had conked out. I looked for repair services but they all seemed a bit pricey, then I saw the reviews and instructions on ifixit and decided to give it a try the kit was only about $30 total so if it didn't go well no biggie.
The repair was SUPER easy. I really couldn't believe how much people were charging for this repair but I said the same thing when I decided to start working on my car. The guide made it so easy and I did it during break at work. The best part was the battery actually was semi charged already so my phone immediately came on lol. It was great.
Fix your phone yourself, if you can follow basic instructions this is a ridiculously easy job. If you aren't technically inclined in the slightest and panic when near any form of technology get a friend to do it for you for like an easy 10 or 20 bucks (which is all I would pay for this easy job). But seriously just do it yourself, its ease factory.
