My iPhone 5 and my father's iPhone 4s had a battery problem. I think since we updated to IOS 7, the battery started to drain very fast. We could not make it last the whole day.

I ordered my battery from eBay and had a problem because the item I received was for iPhone 5S, and after trying to pull the screen out from the phone (difficultiest task) it seems that I forced it in a twist motion. Son when I reassembled the phone sadly with no changes, the screen was dead.

Solution, buy the parts from iFixit and do al the work again but carefully. I watched the iFixit video and noticed that the suction cup was just for the beginning of the disassembly.

Mijn oplossing

When I got the parts from iFixit very fast, I started the job with the iPhone's 4s battery. Easy to do. Then I went to the scary iPhone 5. Very carefully I pulled the screen helped with the plastic tools and suddenly it came out smoothly (although the screen was already dead) I did that in order to check what have I done wrong las time. I changed the battery, lightning connector and screen very fast with the iFixit guides. Now both iPhones work as new

Mijn advies

Just be carful when you pull the screen out from the phone, when possible use the plastic tools to help. To not over bend the cables, just do it to 90 degrees, and disconnect them immediately.
