Mijn probleem
My phone started to shut off at 30% charge, requiring me to plug it in since the power button doesn't work as well. So this became irritating. Knowing that I have put it through 500 plus cycles of charging, the battery is well below good running condition. running nothing else and dying in less than 7 hours. Being a researcher in battery technology I knew it was time to replace, and to study the materials used for the battery.

The repair is not for the weak at heart, opening the phone is easy, especially knowing you do not have to remove the connectors to the screen, just requires the extra set of hands (thanks Hun!) The battery connector comes off easy and easily maneuvered, but the battery, it is well adhered with good amount of tape. DO NOT PRY ALONG THE ELECTRONICS! Slowly lift on the battery around the edge to get it started, don't be scared to bend the old battery, there is another reason you are replacing it. The plastic lift tab that is provided to remove the battery looked flimsy and hard to grip, so I just stuck with the wedge tool and i slowly got the battery out. I accidentally peeled the sticky tape up, so I replace all of it with new scotch double sided tape and placed the new battery in. Reversed the order of disassemble and started my phone. Halleluiah. Good as new, on the battery end at least.

Have patience, don't be scared, follow instructions and read others reviews before beginning. Use a fridge magnet to hold onto the 4 small screws that will be removed, definitely do a good work table.
