Admire the Note 20’s Internals with These Teardown Wallpapers

What started out as a pretty routine teardown of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra took a wild turn when we pulled out the motherboards. We expected to find a vapor chamber cooling system but instead we found…a graphite thermal pad? The mystery continued when we learned that other units have copper vapor chambers, thanks to a teardown from Cambodia

If you’ve shelled out the $1,300 to get the Note 20 or Note 20 Ultra, you’re probably not about to open up your phones to see which cooling system you got. Don’t worry—we took the liberty of opening both the Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra to make some wallpapers for you. Now you can see the insides without battling the tough adhesive and tight screws. And, thanks to our friends at Creative Electron, you can see what they look like to Superman.

Just open up this page on your phone and click on a wallpaper to view it at full resolution. When you’re looking at the full-size image, save the image to your phone, long-press on the home screen, and choose “Wallpapers” to select it from your photos after downloading.
