  • See those little plastic pegs? Those prevent the logic board from being freed! (I think it's to maintain key rigidity and proper function. My keys worked fine after this, but they were pretty mushy.)

  • You're not going to like this step, as it involves prying with a screwdriver and breaking these awful pegs off! So pry until the pegs in that area break, then move down the board!

  • The board is free!

  • Also, this little epoxy blob appears to be the processor. I could probably melt it off if I desperately wanted to, but the calculator works fine. If someone does, send me pics! I'm assuming the processor is ancient Texas secret. Or just some propietary chip.

  • Don't pry too far in, as you risk damaging the traces connecting the keys!

Vedi quei piccoli pioli di plastica? Quelli impediscono che la scheda logica venga liberata! (Penso che sia per mantenere la rigidità dei tasti e il corretto funzionamento. I miei tasti hanno funzionato bene dopo questo, ma erano piuttosto molli.)

Non ti piacerà questo passaggio, poiché implica fare leva con un cacciavite e rompere questi orribili pioli! Quindi fai leva finché i pioli in quell'area non si rompono, quindi sposta verso il basso la scheda!

La scheda è libera!

Inoltre, questo piccolo blob epossidico sembra essere il processore. Probabilmente potrei scioglierlo se lo volessi disperatamente, ma la calcolatrice funziona bene. Se qualcuno lo fa, mi mandi delle foto! Presumo che il processore sia un antico segreto del Texas. O solo un chip proprietario.

Non forzare troppo, rischi di danneggiare i circuiti che collegano i tasti!
