  • Next we decide to remove the metal plate from the front panel assembly.

  • In a big win for repairability, Apple has completely redesigned how the home button connects to the main board. Gone is the awkwardly short and fragile cable of the iPhone 5s days. Instead, Apple has made the effort to run the home button cable all the way to the opposite end of the phone. We're quite happy to see this improvement!

  • We can't think of a reason to extend the cable this way except to improve repairability. Thank you, Apple.

Als nächstes entscheiden wir uns dafür, die Metallplatte vom Front Panel Assembly zu entfernen.

Apple hat eine komplette Neugestaltung im Hinblick darauf, wie der Home Button an die Hauptplatine angeschlossen ist, vorgenommen. Dies stellt einen großen Gewinn für die Reparierbarkeit dar. Verschwunden ist das ungünstig kurze und empfindliche Kabel aus den Tagen des iPhone 5s.

Stattdessen hat Apple sich die Mühe gemacht, das Home Button Kabel den ganzen Weg zur gegenüberliegenden Seite des Telefons laufen zu lassen. Wir sind sehr glücklich darüber, diese Verbesserung zu sehen!

Wir können uns keinen Grund vorstellen, warum das Kabel verlängert wurde, außer um die Reparierbarkeit zu verbessern. Danke, Apple.
