Cherry Gentix 4K Maus - Disassembly

Stap 1

Remove the "Q.C. Passed" Sticker to have access to the Phillips screw below.

Stap 2

Remove the three Phillips screws.

Stap 3

Lift the upper part of the mouse.

Stap 4

Loose the plug with the flat end of a spudger.

Stap 5

Lift the two side parts and put it aside.

Stap 6

Loose the plug with the flat end of a spudger.

Stap 7

There are two plasic clips. Loose the left plastic clip very carefully.

Stap 8

Move the mouse wheel a bit to the right.

Stap 9

Reference picture of the board.

Stap 10

Remove the four Phillips Screws.

Stap 11 — optional for cleaning

Have a look at the plastic clips

Stap 12

Insert the flat end of the spudger into the gap between the two halves on the left and right. The rear plastic clips should then release automatically.

Stap 13

Loose the plastic clips in the middle.

Stap 14

Insert the flat end of a spudger into the gap between the two parts.

Stap 15

Unlock the two plastic clips.
