Safety details

  • Because the gap between the screen assembly and frame is so small, a thin metal tool is needed to pry the screen up. Read the following warnings before you start disassembly:

  • Protect your fingers by keeping them completely clear of the front end of your tool. You can protect your free hand with a heavy glove, such as a leather shop glove or gardening glove.

  • Be careful not to apply too much pressure, as this might cause the iFlex to slip and cut you, or damage the watch.

  • Wear eye protection. The glass may break, sending pieces flying.

  • Attach or remove the watch bands as needed to provide more control as you make repairs.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

Omdat de ruimte tussen het scherm/de sensormodule en de behuizing van het horloge zo klein is, zul je een dunne metalen tool nodig hebben om de twee van elkaar te kunnen scheiden. Lees de volgende waarschuwingen aandachtig door voordat je verder gaat.

Bescherm je vingers door ze van de voorkant van je scherpe tool weg te houden. Als je twijfelt, kun je altijd een handschoen aandoen. Het liefst een leren of tuinhandschoen.

Zorg dat je niet te veel druk zet met je scherpe tool. Te veel druk kan er namelijk toe leiden dat je uitschiet en je jezelf of het horloge beschadigt.

Draag te allen tijde oogbescherming. Het glas kan namelijk barsten en er kunnen daardoor scherven rondvliegen.

Je kunt de horlogeband verwijderen of aan het horloge laten zitten om meer controle over het horloge te krijgen terwijl je de reparatie uitvoert.
