Insert an opening pick

  • Once the screen is warm to touch, apply a suction handle to the left edge of the screen and as close to the edge as possible.

  • If your screen is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction handle. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the screen.

  • Lift the screen with the suction handle to create a small gap between the screen and the frame.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap between the midframe and the screen.

  • Slide the opening pick to the top left corner of the screen to slice its adhesive.

  • Only use the tip of the opening pick (~4-5 mm) during this procedure to avoid tangling with the in-display fingerprint cable or accidentally tearing it.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Ein Plektrum einsetzen

Sobald sich das Display warm anfühlt, setze einen Saugheber auf den linken Bildschirmrand so nahe wie möglich an der Kante auf.

Wenn dein Display stark gebrochen ist, haftet der Saugheber vielleicht besser auf einer Schicht durchsichtigen Klebebands. Alternativ kann anstelle des Saughebers sehr starkes Klebeband verwendet werden. Wenn alles andere fehlschlägt, kannst du den Saugheber mit Sekundenkleber am Display befestigen.

Hebe das Display mit dem Saugheber an, um einen kleinen Spalt zwischen Display und Rahmen zu erzeugen.

Füge ein Plektrum in den Spalt zwischen dem Mittelrahmen und dem Display ein.

Schiebe das Plektrum zu der oberen linken Ecke des Display, um den Klebstoff durchzuschneiden.

Verwende während dieses Vorgangs nur die Spitze des Plektrums (~ 4-5 mm), um ein Verwickeln mit dem oder ein versehentliches Reißen des Fingerabdrucksensorkabels zu vermeiden.

Lasse das Plektrum an Ort und Stelle, um zu vermeiden, dass der Klebstoff sich wieder verbindet.
