Remove the motherboard shields

  • Some motherboard screws are located under two of the metal shields, both of which need to be removed.

  • Use an opening tool to pry up an edge of the metal shield covering the right side of the motherboard.

  • Try not to deform the shield too much—you will need to reinstall it during reassembly.

  • Work your way around the perimeter of the shield, prying up intermittently, until you can remove it completely.

  • Remove the shield.

Retirer les plaques de la carte mère

Quelques vis de la carte mère se trouvent sous deux plaques métalliques qu'il faut retirer toutes les deux.

Avec un outil pour ouvrir, soulevez un bord de la plaque métallique qui recouvre le côté droit de la carte mère.

Essayez de ne pas trop déformer la plaque – vous devrez la réinstaller lors du remontage.

Progressez le long du périmètre de la plaque, en faisant levier à espaces réguliers, jusqu'à ce qu'elle s'enlève complètement.

Enlevez la plaque.
