Open the Surface

  • Very slowly lift the screen assembly away from the Surface case. If you encounter any resistance, stop and check that all the adhesive is separated.

  • Do not remove the screen yet. It is still connected to the motherboard by two cables.

  • Use an opening pick to cut through any remaining adhesive.

  • The flash lens may fall out of the Surface case. Keep track of the lens and return it to its cutout in the case during reassembly.

Ouvrir la Surface

Soulevez très lentement l'ensemble écran du boîtier de la Surface. Si vous avez du mal, arrêtez-vous et vérifiez que l'adhésif est décollé.

N'enlevez pas encore l'écran. Il est encore relié à la carte mère par deux nappes.

Servez-vous d'un médiator pour trancher tout adhésif restant.

Il se peut que la lentille du flash tombe du boîtier de la Surface. Dans ce cas, mettez-la de côté et remettez-la dans son encoche lors du remontage.
