Open the Surface

  • Very slowly lift the screen assembly away from the Surface case. If you encounter any resistance, stop and check that all the adhesive is separated.

  • Do not remove the screen yet. It is still connected to the motherboard by two cables.

  • Use an opening pick to cut through any remaining adhesive.

  • The flash lens may fall out of the Surface case. Keep track of the lens and return it to its cutout in the case during reassembly.

Levanta muy lentamente el conjunto de la pantalla para separarlo de la carcasa de la Surface. Si encuentras alguna resistencia, detente y comprueba que todo el adhesivo está separado.

No retires todavía la pantalla. Todavía está conectada a la placa madre por dos cables.

Utiliza una púa de apertura para cortar los restos de adhesivo.

La lente del flash puede caerse de la carcasa de la Surface. No pierdas de vista la lente y devuélvela a su hueco en la carcasa durante el montaje.
