Unscrew the Taptic Engine

  • Remove the three screws securing the Taptic Engine:

  • One 1.9 mm-long Y000 screw

  • One 1.4 mm-long Y000 screw

  • One 4.1 mm-long standoff screw

  • Standoff screws are best removed using a standoff screwdriver or bit.

  • In a pinch, a small flathead screwdriver will do the job—but use extra caution to ensure it doesn't slip and damage surrounding components.

Standoff schroeven kun je het beste verwijderen met een iPhone Standoff schroevendraaierbitje en schroevendraaier.

Een kleine platkopschroevendraaier kan ook werken—maar wees hierbij extra voorzichtig dat je niet uitschiet om zo te voorkomen dat je de omliggende onderdelen beschadigt.
