  • Apply a spudger to the backside of the home button and push it out towards the front until it comes off the screen.

  • Carefully grab the home button and thread its flex cable through the gap in the screen.

  • Remove the home button.

  • Before installing a new display, it's important to remove all traces of the old adhesive from the frame, and clean the glued areas with isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a lint-free cloth.

Duw, met behulp van een spudger, aan de achterzijde van de thuisknop om deze zo uit het scherm los te krijgen.

Pak de thuisknop voorzichtig vast en trek de flexkabel van de thuisknop voorzichtig door het gat in het scherm.

Verwijder de thuisknop.

Verwijder, voordat je een nieuw scherm installeert, alle oude lijmresten van het frame en maak de voorheen gelijmde gebieden schoon met isopropyl alcohol (<90%) en een stuk stofvrij doek.
