  • Grab one of the outer battery adhesive tabs and slowly pull it away from the battery, toward the bottom of the iPhone.

  • Pull steadily, maintaining constant tension on the strip until it slips out from between the battery and the rear case.

  • The strip will stretch to many times its original length. Continue pulling and re-grab the strip near the battery if necessary.

  • If the battery adhesive tabs break during the removal process, use your fingers or blunt tweezers to retrieve the remaining length of adhesive, and continue pulling.

  • If any of the adhesive strips break underneath the battery and cannot be retrieved, try to remove the remaining strips, and then proceed as instructed below.

Pak één van de buitenste kleefstrips onder de batterij vast en trek deze langzaam weg van de batterij, in de richting van de onderkant van je iPhone.

Trek met een constante kracht zodat er steeds spanning op de strip staat, totdat deze tussen de batterij en de achterkant van het frame wegschiet.

De kleefstrip zal een stuk langer worden — meerdere keren z'n eigen lengte. Blijf trekken en herpak de strip dichter bij de batterij als dat nodig is.

Als de kleefstrips tijdens het verwijderingsproces breken, kun je je vingers of een pincet gebruiken om de overgebleven lengte van de strip te pakken te krijgen om hieraan te kunnen trekken.

Als één van de strips breekt en niet meer kan worden gepakt, ga je gewoon verder met de overige kleefstrips en daarna met de volgende stappen.
