  • Don't open the phone all the way yet. The display cable is still threaded through the mid frame and you might rip the cables of the home and menu buttons.

  • Start to carefully lift the upper edge of the display assembly and thread the display flex cable through the mid frame.

  • Check if the home button or soft key button cables stick to the display assembly before your remove the display all the way.

  • In case one of the cables sticks to the display, carefully peel them off with a pair of tweezers or an opening pick.

  • Remove the display assembly from the phone.

  • Before reassembling make sure to remove any remaining adhesive from the frame by using isopropyl alcohol (>97%) and a lint-free cloth or Q-tip.

Open de telefoon nog niet helemaal. De schermkabel loopt nog steeds door het gat in het midframe en het kan voorkomen dat je de thuisknop- en menuknopkabels kapot scheurt.

Til de bovenkant van de schermmodule langzaam maar zeker op te tillen en begeleid de flexkabel van het scherm door het gat in het midframe.

Check of de thuisknop- of zachte toetskabels aan de schermmodule blijven plakken voordat je het scherm volledig verwijdert.

Als een van de kabels aan het scherm blijft plakken, trek je deze voorzichtig van het scherm af met een plectrum of een pincet.

Verwijder de schermmodule uit de telefoon.

Zorg dat je alle lijmresten uit het frame verwijdert en dat je de voorheen gelijmde gebieden schoonmaakt met wat isopropyl alcohol (>97%) en een stuk stofvrij doek of een wattenstaafje.
