iPhone 4S Battery Replacement

This guide consists of instructions on how to replace the battery in an iPhone 4S.

    • Remove the Bottom Pentalobe Screws next to the charger connecter.

    • It is recommended that you use a small 5-Point screwdriver.

    • Remember to make sure your iPhone is fully turned off before tearing it down, to prevent serious injury.

    • Push the back panel towards the top edges of the iPhone. Doing this should allow the back to slide off.

    • Do NOT apply so much pressure. Especially if your iPhone is cracked.

    • Do not rush it! Time is key.

    • Remove these two screws that are securing the battery connecter to the Logic Board.

    • Remember to focus and pay attention. So you don't accidentally slip and pierce the Battery!

    • For the bottom screw, it is recommended that you use a 1.5 mm Screwdriver, and a 1.7 mm for the top screw.

    • Locate and pull the Plastic tab to pull out battery. Make sure to pry up outsides of battery on other sides as well.

    • Do not pull the plastic tab to hard, as it can easily rip!

    • Carefully remove the battery.

    • Remember, if you are replacing your battery, remember to preform a hard reset on your iPhone once its all finished.
