Will this cause an issue with true tone and the front camera similar to iPhone screen replacements?

Kane Snyder - Antwoord

True Tone will be removed however the camera will still work. The screen will work just fine

Where is a good place to buy replacement screens? I have and Apple 24" iMac with M1 Chip (Mid 2021, Silver) and afraid I’m going to buy the wrong screen or a fake one. Thanks for time

Apple has eliminated the ability for these parts to be available from anyone but Apple and they charge so much that you might as well buy a new iMac. So much for their supposed commitment to repairability. There whole repairability program is nothing but a forward facing PR campaign while their actual processes are meant to encourage their continued windfall from Applecare or the sale of new machines. They are happy to have you trade in your existing product that they then fix and resell, just not willing to do that at a reasonable cost for their actual customers.

And That's The Way It Is -

Since you partner with Apple why no listing of availability of the actual part? And if it's not available what is the point of this being titled "Screen Replacement"?
