Pry up the battery

  • Do not proceed with this step until the battery is lifted enough to easily insert an opening pick underneath the battery. If the battery is still firmly glued into place, you risk piercing the battery with your pick and causing a dangerous thermal event.

  • Once the battery lifts, don't apply isopropyl alcohol, or it may seep into the fingerprint sensor and damage your screen.

  • Insert an opening pick underneath the bottom edge of the battery and twist to loosen the battery adhesive.

Let op: ga niet verder met deze stap totdat de batterij ver genoeg los is gekomen om met gemak een openingsplectrum onder de batterij te steken. Als de batterij nog steeds stevig vastgelijmd zit, riskeer je de batterij te doorboren met je plectrum en zo gevaarlijke schade te veroorzaken.

Dien als je de batterij omhoogkomt geen alcohol meer toe, aangezien je daarmee riskeert dat de vloeistof in de vingerafdruksensor loopt en het scherm beschadigt.

Steek een openingsplectrum onder de onderkant van de batterij en kantel deze om de batterij los te krijgen van de lijm.
