[* black] Capacitor time! This yellow component is called a capacitor. Its job is to store electrical charge, blocking direct current and allowing alternating current to pass. Capacitors are measured (in Farads) as the ratio of the electrical charge on each conductor to the potential difference between them. This capacitor is a 1 µF capacitor.
[* red] Locate the two holes labeled C1.
-[* black] Insert the leads of the capacitor through the holes with the printed 105 facing away from the IC socket so that you can still read it. Then solder the leads to the board using the through-hole technique.
