Stap regels

[* black] Insert the edge of an iPod opening tool under the steel mid plane near the bottom left corner of the Touch.
[* black] Pry upward to separate the plate from the adhesive securing it to the plastic inner case.
[* icon_cautionyellow] Use extreme care, the external speaker is under the area shown in photo. It is connected with very thin and short wires. Make sure to reheat this area with the heat gun, as the speaker is connected to the plate with adhesive.
[* icon_caution] The two thin and short wires that connect the speaker to the logic board will break very easily, requiring a separate repair. Test pry the area to see if the speaker is still connected. Do not lift the speaker assembly at all; instead, keep lightly prying and using the heat gun to separate the the speaker from the plate.

[* orange] There is a very thin ribbon cable here that connects the volume and power buttons to the logic board. Try to work around this area like shown so not to rip the cable. It is extremely fragile.
[* icon_caution] This cable will tear very easily if you are not careful.
