-[* black] Now the "tricky" part. Get a pair of pliers(preferably ones with grooved "teeth") Then wrap a rubber band around them so they hold tension. Use them to push the crack in the gear back together. Fill in the crack with a little bit of super glue. DO NOT get it on the bottom of the shaft. Its ok to get some on the top though.

Fill in the crack with a little bit of super glue. USE thicker super glue, too thin and it will get in the motor, then you are SOL.
