U-Turn Audio Orbit Drive Belt Replacement

Inleiding

U-Turn Audio turntables use rubber belts to help drive the motor around the record platter and therefore spin records. Either after repeated heavy use or damage, these rubber belts need to be replaced to ensure the turntable can operate at correct speeds. This guide includes detailed step-by-step instructions with helpful photographs to show how to replace drive belts specifically for U-Turn Audio turntables.

Using your left hand, hold the belt in the groove located in the pulley in the upper left hand corner of the turntable.

Use your right hand to hold the belt against the outer edge of the platter at roughly the 12 o'clock position.

Rotate the platter to begin wrapping the belt.
As you rotate, let the belt slide between your left hand and the pulley notch to easily pull the belt through the pulley.

Continue to rotate the platter while still holding the belt in place with your left until the belt is fully wrapped around the platter.
Avoid pulling the pulley or the belt to the right which will lead to excess slack and may cause the belt to fall off the platter.
