Inleiding

Is your toilet seat always running, even when nobody has flushed it for hours? Or is your toilet incapable of flushing completely? When calcium deposits have built up on the valve seat, the toilet continues running and cannot be flushed. This guide will help you remove those calcium deposits.

Cutting off the water supply, draining the tank and spraying the seat with vinegar or CLR does the same thing -dissolving the calcium carbonate. You can prevent calcium carbonate buildup by putting a piece of magnesium in the tank.
