For this guide you will need a guitar string winder and cutter, as well as your preferred brand of guitar string. This guide will only show how to replace one string but can be repeated to change all of them.

Place the string winder on the tuning key.

Wind up the string winder counter-clockwise to loosen the strings.

Place the colored circle end of the string in the peg hole.

Put the peg in the hole with the string.
Pull the string while pushing the pin in.

Precut the other side of the string by one and a half machine heads.

Thread the string through the peg.
Wind the string clockwise from top to bottom with the string winder.
Do not overlap the string when winding it.
