Inleiding

This guide tells you how to remove a faulty logic board and install a new one.

  1. push down the back cover of the phone, then take it out.

  2. Remove the battery.
    • Remove the battery.

  3. Remove the (4) 4.2 mm screws from the four corners of the battery slot.
    • Remove the (4) 4.2 mm screws from the four corners of the battery slot.

  4. Use plastic opening tools to peel off plastic Verizon logo tab from the top of the back outside.
    • Use plastic opening tools to peel off plastic Verizon logo tab from the top of the back outside.

    • Note: The tab is stuck on there with glue, this is alright, just peel it off.

  6. Remove the (3) newly uncovered 4.3 mm screws.
    • Remove the (3) newly uncovered 4.3 mm screws.

  7. Remove the back outside casing using the plastic opening tool.
    • Remove the back outside casing using the plastic opening tool.

    • Warning: Do Not lose the buttons on the side of the phone, as they will come off of the phone when you remove the back outside casing.

  8. Pull up on the yellow tab.
    • Pull up on the yellow tab.

  9. Disconnect connecting cord using tweezers.
    • Disconnect connecting cord using tweezers.

  10. Disconnect rectangular ribbon.
    • Disconnect rectangular ribbon.

  11. Remove logic board.
    • Remove logic board.

Conclusie

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
