Stap 1 Shell

• Before disassembly, make sure that the device is unplugged.
• Remove the two 17.83 mm black screws located on the handle.

• Separate the shell from the main component.
• Check to ensure each piece is free from debris.

• Remove the casing from the heating element.
• For reassembly, reattach the silver casing before the black cover.

Stap 4 Heating Element
• The heating element is the group of tightly coiled bronze wires behind the vent hose as well as the silver coils.
• Make sure that there are no breaks or debris obstructing the wires of the heating element.

Stap 5
• To test the heating element, use a digital multimeter.
• Set the multimeter to 200 under ACV.
• Bring the ends of the multimeter toward the two lead wires.
• If the circuit between the wires is closed, the numbers on the multimeter should keep changing.
• If the numbers are not changing, replace the heating element.
• If the circuit is closed, check the thermal cutout.
