Removing Delphi MyFi XM2GO Logic Board

Inleiding

Follow this guide to learn how to remove the motherboard (PCB logic board) of the Delphi MyFi XM2GO portable XM radio.

    • Locate the large button on the top of the device.

    • Push down on the button and slide the cover away from the button.

    • The battery removal tab may pop up.

    • Grab the red pull tab and pull down to unlock the latch.

    • Pull the battery out.

    • locate the four hex screws on the bottom of the device.

    • Remove the four screws using the T6 Torx screwdriver.

    • Locate the button on the back side of the device.

    • Remove the cover by inserting a flathead screwdriver or thumb nail and lifting up.

    • Remove the two screws under the button using the T6 Torx screwdriver.

    • Remove the back cover

    • Locate the power button

    • Remove the power button by pulling to the left.

    • Locate the antenna extension connector on the right.

    • Remove the plastic piece.

    • Pull up on the PCB Logic Board to remove.

    • The LCD screen and keypad are only connected to the board with ribbon cables. They will hang down as the PCB Logic Board is removed.
